As a mother and wife, the life of raising a family requires you to be a super hero at all time. I found myself feeling empty, lost and just trying to get through the day.
Most times people would see me smile and I would bring joy and laughter to others, but I was really exhausted and feeling defeated. I realized that I put myself on the back burner and that I had been there for quite sometime. I knew that I had to make a change.
Not only did my family deserve a better me, I deserved a better me. This means I had to take time out for me and not feel guilty about it. Not pouring into myself first was preventing me from being the best, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
With that being said, pouring into myself had to become a priority. I had to begin to see, not only the world, but, also MYSELF through Rose Coloured Glasses!
That was the beginning of my journey to Self Assurance and Stability! After meeting a group of women who reminded me of myself, I decided to pen a journal of Self Love.
